Nice fish, Idaho's 1947 Rainbow record is 19 pounds, it has been broken recently, August 09, I failed to locate the new weight. 3-7 pound rainbows are not rare here, at least I don't think so, I've landed my share. I know I'm fishing a good hole with lunkers in it.. Some day, but I'll release the fish myself.. I like the pan size ones for eating, I've no interest in a wally rainbow any more.
