Please describe for us "uneducated" readers your notion of what a "natural world" of wildlife looks like. And before you do, please provide the links to the resources from where you educated yourself on "natural" wildlife management.

I seriously think it is time for people to stop playing God with wildlife. You first need to understand the way the natural world works. Snaring and any other form of trapping predator animals needs to be outlawed everywhere. It's quite foolish to me. Very uneducated.

that they are nearing the point of (required) advertising in the Federal Register for 60 days of public comment before they can act on the application,” he reported. “IFW continues to work on this, with the help of Maine Trappers Association, to get a solution for Maine’s people.”

The feds are stalling and so has the state on the ITP. That 60 day comment period was to happen last year. --We watched! and kept on watching, but nothing happened.!
Before the Lynx ITP was applied for the state was ( Or said they were!) working on the ITP to get the snaring back. We were told that it was sent to the feds. Later learned that It had never left Elowe's desk
Keep in mind that we have a large area that are not In the designated lynx areas. Down east Washington County, Over here In western Maine, Yet the state stopped the coyote control state wide. Inside and outside the lynx areas --And look what's happened to the deer.
It is in print that the Federal biologist are more closely linked to WAM and HSUS than it is with the Maine hunters and trappers.
HSUS or a better abbreviation for The Humane Socierty of The United States H$U$ just ranked each state as the most humane. Kaliforniastan of course Is #1--Our deer-less state of Maine ranked #3 and tied with Massachusetts. Now what's that tell you about our wildlife officials, and their dis-ability to come up with a meaningful predator program.
