Remember Climategate? That was when emails were made public, supposedly stolen, that showed that something was stinky in Denmark…..well, figuratively and literally. Much was the stir over the revelations that scientists didn’t seem to be acting on good behavior and might have fudged data to achieve desired outcomes, casting huge black shadows of doubt on the entire “science” of global warming that places the blame on the day to day living of human beings.
Sane and rational people demanded that the powers that should be get to the bottom of this in order that we can honestly learn whether climate change is natural or man-made. And some believed they would. Have they? Not really.
American Thinker’s S. Fred Singer says it’s all a whitewash. A few slaps on the wrist here and there, with attempts at resolving that there is nothing wrong with the science only some questionable behavior.
The unfortunate part of a whitewash is that it only serves to discredit even further the academy of sciences. Without ever digging deep enough to resolve the issue only leaves us common chumps wondering if we can believe anything these educated elitists tell us.
Alas, business as usual.
