So you tell me. What are the demographics of all this? Is this percentage, which always seems to hover around 45% all made up of the same people?
47% of all Americans will not pay any income tax.
45% of all Americans think the amount of income tax they pay is “just about right“.
49% of all Americans at least “somewhat approve” of President Obama’s performance.
And, I can’t put my cursor on it right at the moment but I recently read where more than 50% of all Americans depend on the local, state or federal governments (taxes) for their jobs or some kind of financial assistance/welfare.
I’m sure it’s merely coincidental.
