Astronomers are predicting a massive solar storm to hit the Earth in late 2012. The effects will be that of 100 million hydrogen bombs. Serious things could happen.
Will such results be bigger if you live in a sunny state like Florida?
Officials say two other dates in history saw massive solar storms – 1859 and 1921. In 1859, it was so bad that John Brown was hanged and in 1921, the Yankees baseball team bought 20 acres of land in the Bronx. What worse things than that could happen?
Of course I’m joking……well, I am about John Brown and the Yankees, although those events did occur in those years, I have my doubts they were because of solar storms.
In all seriousness, well, almost all seriousness, astronomers say this could be the big one affecting airlines, communications, gps and supporters of Obama. Perhaps not the supporters of Obama.
Nobody knows for sure what might happen but to make this story even better, let’s say it will definitely strike on 12/12/2012.
