Now that was a very cool looking moose. That’s one I wouldn’t mind seeing running around still only because of his rarity.

Harley – I can’t do it right now but somewhere I’ve got some pictures of a cow moose and her twins, all albino. I think I posted on this blog somewhere. Maybe search this site for “albino moose”.
Thanks Tom! I think I remember seeing those here or maybe somewhere else. My friend tells me they are so huge, even the ones on Isle Royale and I think they aren’t as big as the ones in Alaska. Stunted growth lol!

WOW! I had a schoolmate that always said shooting an albino deer was a curse. But looking at this photo is pretty amazing!! I always like to see moose in the back of the vehicle instead of on the hood!

Good point ladyotrout! I think if that one had been found on the hood of a vehicle, there wouldn’t be much hood left!

I knew a fell once who shot a large whitetail deer and strapped it to the hood of his Jeep and drove around the community for three days to make sure everyone seen it and the heat from the engine spoiled the deer. I wouldn’t advise using your thropy for a hood ornimate.

I’ve seen deer spoil in three hours, just lying on the ground, without being field dressed, (gutted)…..You never knew it til you tasted it….whew! A lot of folks learn to dislike venison because of this.
