Campaign Promises
Come, all my people and listen to me,
I’ll take your vote, and you shall see.
Change will come to this nation,
Better times, you will be facein’.
No more tax without representation,
No shortage of money for you to ration.
Oil prices will drop if you vote for me!!
Debt, for you I will set free
I will tax the rich
And listen to them bitch
Jobs will return to this state
It is important for your fate,
Gas prices shall fall I swear,
Look into my eyes, see how I care
Change is coming and you can bet
I will help you all, even the vet!!
No homeless people in our streets
This is but one of my many feats!!
Hunger pains will not be heard!
Oh vote for me, I give my word!!
A bailout for each I shall give,
Vote for me so you may live
Debt free, I say, in my cry,
Without your vote I cannot try!!
Vote for me, I’ll show you the way!!
Tomorrow will be a better day!!
Your roads will be paved,
And your co-pays waved!!
Seniors come first as well as the vet,
Just get to the polls and you can bet,
That each and every word I stand and say,
My term in office will bless your day!!
So now that you have heard my speech
Don’t be fooled, I’m just another leach!!
In my years in office I have stolen your votes
Had your hometown bank, repossess your hopes
Raised taxes before your very eyes,
And given you all nothing but lies,
Our vets get nothing for their sorrow
Let them suffer for their pain tomorrow
You’re bailing out bankers with your stimulus dollar
I don’t care if you scream and holler!!
Your local banks won’t lend a dime,
With all you owe on the bottom line!
Healthcare will you not afford,
Medicare I’ll toss overboard
You can’t afford the price of gas
And therefore you can kiss my ass!!
I’ve taken your vote and now you can see,
My seat in office puts you below me,
I’ll slither away after my term,
Live a good life and drown my worm
With your tax dollars you have earned
A hard lesson for you to have learned
Get up tomorrow and follow your leader
Mother nature’s here, we will still need her
We politicians crow on our roost
Tax laws have given us a boost
Tomorrow’s liberties are gone astray
God help, your guns I’ve taken away
You are now like birds upon a nest,
Us assholes have put you to the test
You live in fear, a great white wolf at your door
Shoot him not for what’s in store,
He is endangered as the common man
But yet protected, most like a Congressman
Don’t bitch ’cause this country’s gone to the dogs,
You voted now live with your Washington hoggs,,,,
