Erin Bolster is the wrangler who, along with her horse “Tonk” warded off a grizzly attack on an 8-year-old boy she was guiding in Montana. Great story of courage.
That was awesome! What a beautiful horse! And what a brave woman! Thanks Tom for putting this up!
Great story. When is Renee going to be on the show for shooting the wolf 10 feet in front of her?
God Bless Erin and Tonk. Erin is a true American Hero!
I wonder if she will wise up and hang a 45/70 in a scabbard off that pony next season?
I wonder when unarmed dumbass people will stop hauling unarmed greenhorn tourists with no horse riding skills into Grizzly country for their first time horse back. Even the the child’s father who apparently had rode before still let the horse he was on be the boss, rather than making that horse obey his commands, thus proving to me the father and the horse that the rent a ride outfit put him on are both idiots, so why have an idiot horse around that blows up in bear country over a bear even though the rider is “experienced” ?
I know, it amazes me. You know as well as I do, in this day and age, if someone has ridden a push button pony around an arena for a hour they now consider themselves “experienced” horsemen.
