To my knowledge, this information has yet to be confirmed. It certainly has run rampant on the Internet. Yesterday, Oath Keepers posted on their website what they describe as a tip from a National Guard person who says that during an Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise (EDRE) soldiers were asked if they would use lethal force against American citizens if asked to do so. One by one, the soldiers of 3 companies stepped forward, laid down their weapons and stood down. All that was left were the angry officers.

This sounds like one of those stories that many people would like to believe and yet is difficult to fathom that our U.S. Military would poll soldiers and ask them this question. What would be the reason for that? Unless…….?

What gives this story even more impact is that recently the United States Senate passed the National Defense Authorization Act that would give the U.S. Military the authority to arrest and detain, indefinitely, Americans, on American soil “suspected” of terrorist activity. Why do we need this? Is this a further expansion of the constitutionally destructive Patriot Act, in which millions of Americans have been convinced that it is necessary to give up their rights for “National Security”?

And then we hear that the much talked about and always denied existence of the FEMA internment and detainment camps are actually being activated and staffed.

Is this the progression of a terrific piece of gossip or is there truth in all this. If nothing else it certainly appears that many Americans are at least angry and beginning to ask questions. We all should. This is all bad stuff, even the stuff easily confirmed.

We don’t know for certainty the authenticity of the National Guard stand down, but anyone can easily confirm the Senate’s actions to pass the National Defense Authorization Act. And there’s some pretty good information further confirming the existence and activation of FEMA camps. So what gives?

For the record, I would certainly hope and pray that should any American soldier be ordered to use lethal force on Americans for no good reason, they would stand down. When they don’t, we are all in big trouble.

Tell me what your thoughts are on this subject and please, in the comments section leave any links you might have that would support or refute any and all of this.
