Well that was a poorly executed propaganda film. Am I supposed to be shocked by prey species being killed by their natural predators. It’s difficult to take any of their information seriously when the production is riddled with typos.

No, not shocked. Informed, is the proper word, regardless of spelling captivating the thought process. Beyond the text of the spelling you can find the content.
It was noted by you that this is propaganda while the film is real, on location and filmed before a once-live audience.
The illegal dogs are in too great a number to sustain their voracious killing and not eating. Even if they ate their prey, there are too many in the woods and more are coming but it looks as though the ramifications of this situation, the annihilation of the lesser animals, the lesser point in this war on private property, cannot be fathomed by yourself.
Ever notice how no one says anything while the wars continue slaying our good men? Why are HSUS and PETA and all, not frightfully agitated over the deaths of our young men but one lone varmint dog reigns supreme in the courts of High Pantheism?
The title on the video that has mispellings in it, is self explanatory. Not understanding this is proof you will not seek the truth and agree the numbers of dogs loose in the woods are detrimental to wild life, not to mention all life-forms and must be removed, especially since the cover-ups, lies and agenda documented and readable by yourself. Have you read any of it at all? Too young to read? Can’t read? Oh, yes, that’s right. You can spell.
Well, good luck with the spell-checkar affair. I’d aim for comprehension next, though.

I completely comprehend the intent of this film and stand by my characterization of it as propaganda. Rockholm Media is attempting to scare its audience through graphic imagery of brutal, but natural, animal kills. They then allude to the potential for this same type of carnage with human victims, but without any evidence or information regarding such attacks. The fact that they cannot even properly edit the small amount of information they do provide makes me question the validity of the claims made.
I can in fact fathom the ramifications of an out of control wolf population, but I also understand the importance of keystone predators on ecosystem health. Instead of arguing for necessary wolf management based upon biological factors, this film attempts to demonize the animal and use scare tactics to push an agenda.
As a hunter and avid outdoorsman, I feel that videos like this and those who attempt to use scare tactics, as opposed to scientific evidence, to further their goals do a great disservice to our greater cause.
P.S. I’m not sure where you live, but here in Maine no one is silent about the deaths of our service men and women.

Well, then, patty-up to the dogs and it will look like this video in Maine shortly.
Shocking as it is, proof for you might be in gettin’ yer boots on the ground out there and look around for yourself. Take a camera and document it.

That is the issue I have. It is not proof simply because a few grisly photos are circulating. If I were to stumble upon the remains of a poached deer, could I then use the photo as an example that all hunters are unscrupulous poachers? Of course not, but that is what you and this video are suggesting; that anecdotal accounts should be taken as fact.
If statistical analysis and scientific evidence suggest an out of control wolf population, then by all means implement a management strategy. I feel that basing management decisions on shock videos and anecdotes is a step in the wrong direction.

I suggest, have suggested and will suggest that the “powers” to be are full of it and have lied to sportsman and the public about the dogs numbers; their introduction was bull-crap to do. It is insane to introduce so many dogs onto the game animals. If you don’t think so, you haven’t been informed enough yet and haven’t seen what is in the future. They are coming for your rifle, sir, whether you think so or not. I am trying to open you up to the suggestion that it is so, is all.
For the life of me, I cannot figure out why that is such a difficult thought to grasp. But it always gets turned around that some hunters want all the dogs dead, is not true. We want what we PAID for and that does not include a country-side riddled with carcasses.
The diseases the animal carries is shutting game production down for the future. I call it terrorism of the game while AR gd freaks, and let’s face it, they are freaks loving an animal over their fellow man are ignorant of their own actions, cannot fathom the repercussions to follow, like the crashed herds in Idaho.
Just at the same time people may be waking to the fact an agenda has been placed into the woods of our country by foreign NGO’s, it’s TOO LATE, the law against pointing it out is already in place.
One can argue it is not so or one can read where it is true. Rockholm has, I ask you, what, for an agenda making his video. For what purpose would he give of his own time to document something not true. Assuming he is a crook or thief is the height of ignorance in condemning him or anyone without investigation.
Perhaps some reading into the origins of the USFWS, USFS from sources not their own, might shed some light on what these, I call them foreigners, “think” ought to happen to MaineSt’s hunting heritage. Understand, friend, how mad I am at this Agenda driven scheme no one thinks is happening, is all. I don’t mean to offend personally; only to insight enough curiosity for you to keep asking questions. I hate the fact curiosity has sought a hiding place, friend.

I’m reading all of your replies here and although I to am disappointed in the poorly done video itself, because it does not go far enough to explain that Idaho is in the worst predator pit scenario possible, and has not reached the full collapse potential that a real predator pit brings about, it’s not far off. Having lived and hunted here for 34 years, Wyoming 6 years, during my 52 years, I’ve never seen it so bad. Many elk herds are totally wiped out from several areas, 29 elk units are in collapse right now, some will never recover, the largest zone is the Sawtooth Zone, ten million plus acres, thats five YNPs, in total elk herd collapse, even with management of predators the collapse continues, the elk will not recover unless we stop the predation, stop the hunting, and reintroduce more elk as was done in the 1930s. This video is not propagandizing anything, it has no influence on anyone unless they’re dumb. At best it’s a very small peek at a much larger problem. Hunting these last few years, especially the last two years, the bone yard is massive here, never seen anything like it before. I found ten dead elk in one canyon and three dead moose, a canyon I’ve hunted for three decades, that produced a harvest during those years, not a walk through a bone yard. Several areas look the same, I hunt seven areas spread out over that ten million acres spread out over a couple hundred miles. It all looks the same. Now Rockholme media in the past has done a great job, why this video is so poor is beyond me, but to make any type of judgement on it either way is meaningless, and calling it propaganda is silly, it shows nature, the problem is there is way to much death going on here and it’s not good for nature when we stand around and just let it destroy itself in this fashion, especially if we mean to use and preserve the resources for ourselves, and to sustain a wild predator population at the same time, which is flat out not happening here, not even close. This is a disaster.

I am not trying to dispute the vast problems associated with unchecked wolf population growth. Attempting to manage an area based upon the needs of one species, whether it be wolves, elk, or grasshoppers, is an inadequate way to conserve biodiversity and as we are seeing is wreaking havoc on ecosystems in the west.
My simple point, which I stand by, is that the short film in question is using shock value, scare tactics, and attempts to demonize the wolf for behaving like a wolf, in order to push an agenda (which appears to be wolf eradication). This undermines the attempts of those looking for a sound ecosystem based approach to wildlife management and in my opinion makes the position of Rockholm Media seem weaker.

I know you’re not, I’m just stating the relevance of this predator pit is not being held up or dropped to the ground by Rockholme Media. I’ve always stated that the misguided beliefs of the wolf activists is in fact the worst thing that ever happened to the wolves, the false belief that wolves can manage or balance eco systems placed the wolves in an impossible situation whereupon they shall continue to eradicate the ungulate’s and thus themselves. And of course we the hunting community come out on the losing end with the wolves. I personally believe this was the intent from day one. So we have some Davids amongst the hunting community, not so perfect men and women, who have stepped out to face the Green well funded, Faustian Sciences Goliath, using a lot of truth mixed with a lot of deceptions and is destroying everything American, with their own well funded propaganda tools that blows away this small video by a hunter trying to get your attention in seven minutes.
