I was reading yesterday that, “God is against unity that has man as the focus, especially when that unity is used to oppose God….” Is there anyone who seriously is unaware or in denial that earthly powers and principalities seek a “New World Order”?

Countries, like the United States of America, are losing their identity. And how is that happening? Because there becomes each passing day less individualism, independent thought. Forces are beating the drum that we must all be as one, think the same, act the same, and that this can be achieved by the creation of one bank, one government and one person of authority to oversee it all. Some would describe this as Utopia but it’s actually from the pits of Hades.

This “uniting” has a problem. It’s entire focus is on that of man, i.e. man’s bank, man’s money, man’s government, run by men. Where is God in all this?

In this same article, I learned that a document written by the leaders at the Vatican says, “Only a spirit of concord that rises above divisions and conflicts will allow humanity to be authentically one family and to conceive of a new world with the creation of a world public Authority at the service of the common good.”

Note that “authority” is capitalized and there is no mention of God. It’s all about man.

And speaking of Catholicism, did you notice that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says she has “dirt” on Newt Gingrich? Is that any way for two Catholics to act? “Imagine all the people, living life in peace…oooh, oooh, oooh.”

Of course one of Pelosi’s first acts as newly elected Speaker of the House, was a quick trip to see the Pope. Interesting? And Gingrich, who resigned as Speaker of the House because of ethics charges and infidelity problems, soon got a resurrection of his political career after converting to Catholicism. Rumors run rampant now about Gingrich’s connections with the Vatican’s underground world.

Is there really a connection here that serves to be watched? Is Pelosi under orders to spread “dirt” on Newt? Sounds more like a soap opera to me.

And speaking of soap operas, can you, with a straight face, tell me why 13 counties in Western Michigan need snow cone making machines from Homeland Security monies? Reasons given: “snow cone machines can make ice to prevent heat-related illnesses during emergencies, treat injuries and provide snow cones as an outreach at promotional events.” Now if that ain’t protecting the security of this homeland then by cracky I guess I never will know what is.

And speaking of con jobs, well, take your pick. The world is full of them. What if there was only one source left where a person could find nothing but the truth. Would you go find it and use it as your foundation for life?

And speaking of life, isn’t life good? There are jobs out there now and you can get one trapping alligators in Florida. I’m not sure the line is real long but you hadn’t better wait too long.

Hey, do you think this problem with too many alligators in Florida has anything to do with over protection for too long? Waiting…..waiting……waiting…..waiting! Where are the lawsuits to protect alligators? Where are the animal rights nuts seeking humane treatment for alligators? Waiting……waiting……waiting. Yawn!

And speaking of yawning, our president, Barack Obama, who has difficulty getting out of bed at a reasonable time each day, is headed out on another 17-day vacation to Hawaii. Man, he must be tired. Works sooo hard.

And speaking of tired, that ends this version of Random Thoughts and Comments. Please offer yours.

As an FYI to my readers, understand that over the next few days my postings will be light to non existent. Today I have to travel to pick up my wife, three hours away and return later tonight. Tomorrow is packing day and tearing down camp. Wednesday is getting my wife and granddaughter to the airport for a 6 a.m. flight – up at 3 a.m. here. I hit the road either later in the day on Wednesday or very early on Thursday hoping to get into Florida on Friday. Did I say I was tired?

In addition, as I traveled yesterday from Iowa to Maine, with three flights along the way, I found myself with about an hour of time at Laguardia. I dug out my laptop and decided to put down some of the thoughts running through my mind at the time. Below is what I wrote. I thought I would share this with you this morning.

~~~~~
Iowa Recap – Thoughts Going Away
Having had approximately 20 hours to recall the events of the keynote address to the North American Elk Breeders Association, I’m coming away with a realization that there are Americans hungry for leadership. I’m not convinced that is my role nor am I, at this point, looking to necessarily take up that cause.
What worries me about what I saw leaves me wondering if my brothers and sisters are so malnourished they clamor for any leadership or do they want the same kind of leadership that made the United States a great nation, aye, the greatest nation on earth?
I had 45 minutes to draw the attention of approximately 100 members of the audience, hold it and send them away hopeful, feeling nourished, encouraged and just a bit more prepared to push back against the powers seeking to destroy what God inspired in our Founding Fathers.
As I talked of unalienable rights that God endowed upon each one of us at the moment of birth, no, from the beginning of time, eyes began to become focused on my words; the words emanating from my mouth. Words are very powerful and must be chosen carefully.
I questioned who gave authority to certain men to steal from each of us, rights and liberties, all of which are gifts of our Creator. The more I spoke the more I witnessed more eyes looking intently, people appearing to cling to words they so much wanted to hear. They yearn for someone, anyone, through hope to assure them their own thoughts on personal liberty can be validated.
Heads began moving up and down. I saw a few lips finishing the statements I was in the middle of making, answering questions I rhetorically asked and felt inspired when I saw many people nodding in agreement.
The strength of the longing for right words and right leadership fires my own oven for a couple of reasons. I sense that people are so hungry they may have positioned themselves to the vulnerabilities of the powers and principalities that wish to lead the masses astray. I cannot, nor can anyone who is blessed with clarity in truth, stand by and wish these people receive the message intended for their ears.
In addition, being the messenger is self empowering, and I fear the dangers my years have given me witness of others imbibed with the drunkenness of power become a soldier in the wrong army, may tempt me.
Where to go from here? I’m not sure. Slow and steady I believe is the right process to take. One step at a time, learning as I go and always seeking the truth. Liberty cannot exist without truth. One must always seek truth, for without it real freedom is blackened and the mind becomes vulnerable to be lead down the wrong path.
It’s that time again. Time for some inane thought and totally random comments.
Yesterday President Obama, while releasing a birth certificate with his name on it, said, “We do not have time for this kind of silliness. We’ve got better stuff to do. I’ve got better stuff to do,”. Shortly after making that comment he headed off to film an episode with Oprah Winfrey. It’s not clear whether this was before or after helping his mother-in-law do the laundry, much to his objection, and before he ran off to play golf.
The dictionary, or at least one of them, defines “silliness” as “weak-minded or lacking good sense; stupid or foolish”. But here we go again. This sort of thing is all subjective. Obviously it is far too silly for anyone to be concerned whether our president is a legal citizen and that our constitution hasn’t been once again breached, than it is to be on the Oprah Winfrey show or the hundreds upon hundreds of hours this clown spends doing non productive things. How silly!
He also said in his “birther” press conference, “We’re not going to solve our problems if we get distracted by sideshows and carnival barkers,”. A carnival barker is that obnoxious person you might hear at the carnival yelling, “Hurry! Hurry! Step right up! See the two-headed woman perform amazing tricks!” Or, is it that woman who used to stand up in front of the House of Representatives and bang a gavel barking similar things?
Obama is a carnival barker. If you’ve ever been suckered into one of those “sideshows” by a “carnival barker”, you soon discover once inside that all the hype you heard outside was just a sales pitch, a lie, something said only to entice you to buy a ticket. There’s no difference between Barack Obama or any other lying politician and a carnival barker.
On with the show!
Jobless claims for this week stood at 429,000. Yup! We were just told that we were on the road to recovery and the ONLY thing that might stop that would be the rising price of gas. Drink, drink, drink, that Kool-Aid!
Exxon earned $11 billion in profits last year, Shell $8.78 billion and BP announced profits were up 16% last year. So, how much did the state and federal governments gouge out of the American people last year through gasoline taxes? Where are those figures? At one time it was estimated that oil companies profited about 10 cents on every gallon of gas sold. That’s a lot of money when you consider how much gas they sell. However, state and federal governments profit around 60 cents on every gallon of gas YOU BUY! Where’s the outrage?
And, oh yes! The Royal Wedding. Who really gives a shit!
Did you see that video of the cop beating up on that girl at a McDonald’s? One more reason we should let Michelle Obama shut down those places. Look what the food does to people who eat it. All this beating people up stuff. Is there some kind of conspiracy to lace the food there to make you hate on everything, causing violence so the government can regulate McDonalds out of business?
Coincidence? Obama names GE CEO Jeff Immelt as an adviser, followed soon thereafter with an announcement that GE’s profits are the highest in a decade. Magic!
Printing money causes inflation? I had no eyed deer!
Dollar down, gold and silver up? I had no eyed deer!
Rev. Michael Pfleger, one of Obama’s buddies, has been suspended by the Catholic Church. Odd, considering it was probably was decided within the Vatican. I mean Pfleger probably is the poster boy for the Vatican. Who better to epitomize the Pope?
To answer the Rev. Al Sharpton, I immediately demand to the see the full edition birth certificate of the next president ONLY if that person is white.
One of the biggest mistakes America made in 2008 was its failure to look beyond fancy words and hollow promises to find out who that man from Chicago really was. Was there a lesson learned there? Absolutely not. Take Donald Trump……..PLEASE! He’s Barack Obama Vuja De. He says all the things non thinking people want to hear, who know nothing about his past and don’t care and have fallen all over themselves to make him into something he isn’t. Alas!
If Mother Earth is granted the same rights as all Americans (I sooner think she would be granted more rights than I have by the sick bastards behind such a perverse movement), will she stop working?
Tom Remington
I have two thoughts on Julian Assange and Wikileaks. The first is this: Those running the show at Wikileaks while Assange is being kept in jail said, “This is a turning tide and starting a trend that you can’t really stop unless you want to shut down the Internet.”
Isn’t that the goal of the Obama Administration and whoever it is that he and his globalist/Marxists are following? Aren’t they the ones responsible for the leaks?
And the second thought has to do with the leaks themselves. Are people really so dumb as to think that one man taking the credit or blame for leaking the classified documents to Wikileaks is the source? It was nearly 40 years ago in which I had my hand in military classified information. I doubt that things have gotten slacker than they were in 1973 and I can tell you there is no way in God’s creation that I, with a top secret clearance, could have obtained that information alone. Sorry!
It wasn’t until today that I heard one news source from Australia beginning to focus on why and who and where the source of the leaks actually came from. That’s the root of the espionage and yet nobody is uttering a word; crickets!; just eager little minions willing to pass along the antiseptic information government wants them to hear.
Free speech is a real threat to Obama and his ilk. They must control it. This is the reason all we hear lately is how evil news and media are and how it must be censored, controlled and presented to the people in the manner approved by government.
Why is it that those who practice free speech and tell the truth need to be banned but those who lie the lies the left wants repeated must retain their freedom?
New thought -
Has anyone else taken notice of how just prior to the general election in November all the talk was about drafting legislation that would get wolves off the Endangered Species Act List? A number of politicians ran to their podiums claiming they would do something. The people have spoken!!!!
Now, the only talk about such action has turned to the usual – it can’t be done. It’s somebody else fault! Now with little on the line for these deceitful grandstanders, such legislation just isn’t going to get the job done.
Keep watching as it fades away until the next election cycles when whatever the hot button issue is, they will be there to lead the charge and deceive the masses one more time.
New thought -
For those who have spent some time in the retail sales business, you probably know about the difficulties in reaching and exceeding price plateaus for merchandise. Back in what seems another life, I sold ski equipment. I remember top of the line racing skis made by Rossignol approached and hung around just below that magic $200 price threshold. Manufacturers and retailers hated to put that price over the $200 mark simply because of the mindset and perceptions of the buying public.
Once it broke that threshold and became accepted by consumers, price increases rushed upward, quickly until it came up against the next price plateau of $300.
Gas prices in the U.S. have now exceeded $3.00 per gallon, again, in many states and nobody is talking about it. It wasn’t that long ago that we were all warned that the price of gas could exceed $3.00, $4.00, $5.00 or more per gallon. There was anger, fear, and threats made. Prices began dropping but didn’t stay down long until up they went, once again reaching $3.00 or more a gallon. Silence.
We’ve accepted the $3.00 to $3.99 per gallon price. Expect to see gas prices to continue a steady increase until it begins approaching $4.00. The games will begin again.
New thought -
A compromise was made on a deal pertaining to taxes. Both sides to some degree are claiming a victory. How does stealing millions of dollars from taxpayers, while convincing them they are getting a tax break, a victory for anybody. I heard someone once say, “Stop pissing on my leg, while trying to convince me it’s raining out!”
STOP SPENDING MONEY! STOP! STOP! STOP! Once you’ve figured out how to do that, then CUT SPENDING! CUT! CUT! CUT!
Does ANYBODY in Washington understand this concept? Hellooooooooo!
Tom Remington
I was listening to the news this morning and two items were being discussed. The first was about the millions of dollars New York City is mandated to spend by the Federal Government because their street signs are lettered with all upper case letters. It appears some brain dead SOB decided that all upper case letters on street signs might be “confusing” and so the Feds are mandating New York change them. Being that it is New York City, I’m wondering if a terrorist complained that he was having difficulty finding out how to get to his designated blow-up site.
The second issue was another brilliant conclusion pertaining to losing weight. Once again, probably a close relative of the guy who thinks street signs can be confusing, someone has decided that you can’t lose weight if you don’t sleep enough. Yes! Without the proper amount of sleep, the body isn’t well rested enough to be able to lose the added fat you obtained by sitting around doing nothing and laying in bed sleeping too much. What’s next?
If there is one thing, only one thing, that President Obama can be commended on is his sense of humor. You have to admit at certain times, sometimes in the most bizarre places and at the most unusual times, he can drop some pretty funny lines. The most recent incident was when the Presidential Seal fell of his podium. Prior to that, it was when he picked Joe Biden to be his VP.
True story! A Massachusetts woman has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, vandalism to property and disorderly conduct for throwing a bag of dog crap into the face of a passing motorists. The woman claims she did it because the guy driving the car was going too fast. What wasn’t reported was whether or not the action actually caused the guy to slow down. It appears he almost hit someone riding a bicycle, but did it slow him down? If it did, think of the possibility marketing bags of dog crap could bring.
What’s all the hype about? The buzz is everywhere about how the republicans are going to take back the House and Senate. Blah, blah, blah! So what? What’s going to change other than the obvious shift in majority seating?
Election season is very laughable. We as gullible Americans get caught up in the sensationalism of the moment and actually begin to believe that something is going to change…….for the better. After all, the slimy little lizards promise you it will.
A new study wants to make a leap and say that the Internet causes depression. Although those wanting to make the claim have no scientific (I use that term very loosely these days)evidence that kids using the Internet “too much” are getting depressed, it makes for good fodder. They have no idea why the kids are becoming more depressed but they found out that over a period of time depression got worse in those kids studied, so why not blame it on the Internet. Probably the Internet is to blame for broken homes, drug addicted parents, schools that are breeding grounds for gang recruitment, fighting, hatred and violence in general. Or it could just as easily be global warming or George W. Bush. Let’s not address the real causes.
DNA evidence shows that in the East coyotes, domestic dogs, and wolves have interbred (no evidence that democrats are involved). Once we understand this and gain a greater understanding of how these animals carry disease, kill your pets and demolish other wildlife, we can better learn to live with them. I’m starting a new organization called, “Adopt a Hybrid Wolf”. Every family should have a dozen.
I used to study computer logic. Yeah, I know. That helps explain what a flaming idiot I can be. Computer logic was necessary in order to be able to write programs, today called scripts. A simple sentence structured in logic might read: If it is rainy today, carry an umbrella. It’s not rainy today. And from here logic would propose solutions.
Using logic then, if nature balances itself and when man kills wolves/coyotes reproduction levels increase, then if man stopped killing them they would decrease. I think I’ll go get my umbrella.
Until next time.
Being competent is possessing required skills, knowledge, qualifications and mental and physical capacities to do a job. Incompetence is the lacking of all of the above. Barack Obama is incompetent.
A coincidence is an extraordinary occurrence of two or more events at the same time that is presumed to be only by chance. Is it therefore a coincidence that our banking and Wall Street industries “failed”, followed immediately by Government take over? Is it a mere coincidence that the auto industry “failed”, followed immediately by a Government take over? Is it a coincidence that the housing mortgage industry “failed” just prior to being taken over by the Federal Government? Do you believe it a coincidence that it was announced the student loan industry was in financial difficulty only to be immediately followed up with a take over by the Federal Government? Is it also only a coincidence that health care was in crisis followed immediately by a Government take over? Is it a coincidence that President Obama stated his desire to end all domestic drilling for oil and gas, followed by the greatest oil induced environmental disaster in American history? Is it an insignificant coincidence that Goldman sold $250 million, double any other company, in BP stock only days before the deep water oil rig explosion? Is it now only a coincidence that the Government is going out of their way to claim they are in charge? Is it a coincidence Obama wants to buy and sell carbon credits? Is it a coincidence Obama wants to legalize illegal immigration? Is it a coincidence the Obama wants to regulate and control the Internet? Is it a coincidence that Obama wants to censor talk radio? Extraordinary occurrences of two or more events at the same time that are presumed to be only by chance?
What confidence do I have left in our political process, which includes those elected to run it, when I think Rod Blagojevich might just be an innocent guy?
Paul McCartney, in his visit with the play boy President, made the statement that it was good to have a president who knows what a library is. Perhaps McCartney should have gone a bit further to say that Bush knew what a library was and didn’t take the time to read perhaps as much as he could have and that Obama knows what a library is and chose to select only communist/socialist/Marxist- themed books to read and used the rest to wipe his rear end on.
Ignorant people are calling for the boycott of BP. That’s good. If enough of us do that, we can run BP out of business and leave the United States Government to clean up the mess. What could go wrong? Instead buy Hugo Chavez’s gas.
If we use the “scientific” models and calculations on how carbon dioxide increases our global temperatures, after the volcanic eruption on Iceland, we should expect our global temperatures to rise significantly.
If you’re a Bible believer and in particular Bible Prophecy, here’s a couple of eye openers. The whole world, apparently the United States included, is against Israel. Nancy Pelosi rambled on about how the Word was important to her decisions she makes as House Majority Leader. The Word of course was in reference to the Bible. I was taught many, many years ago that in order to tell if a person is a messenger from God, is to compare what they say and do with what the Word of God says. I’m still searching for baby killing in the Word someplace, along with lying, cheating, stealing, racism, immorality, general corruption, etc. etc.. And to go along with Pelosi’s feticide fantasies, a new Planned Parenthood Center (killing field for babies) opened in Texas and those officials of the center have declared it “sacred and holy ground”. Nancy “Herod” Pelosi! All hail the king.
I thank God for a “Third Lens” for which there is real Hope, without the change.
It’s now official. Chastity Bono is legally Chaz Bono…..a man. Does that mean Cher becomes Chester and the late Sonny becomes….er, uh, well, Sonny?
Cinco de Mayo is recognized in the United States as a day to reflect on the heritage and pride of Mexico. If American citizens, namely students, can’t wear t-shirts with American flags on them on May 5th, does that mean Mexicans can’t wear t-shirts with Mexican flags on them on Presidents Day, Patriots Day, Independence Day, Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, New Years Day, Christmas, National Day of Prayer, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday………….Shall I go on?
If the car bomber, Shahzad, the guy too stupid to understand the three requirements to make fire, really attempted to blow up Time Square because he defaulted on his mortgage or was unhappy with Obamacare, does that mean that Paul Tibbets must have been distraught over some demented mother/son image because his plane was named Enola Gay after his mother?
If the explosion of the oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico is the first of its kind; If it took President Obama at least 8 days to attempt to do anything about the devastation; If there was not adequate equipment available to address such a disaster; If these and more questions remain unanswered, then why isn’t more being said and done about this email found to have been sent from a Goldman Sachs employee to his girlfriend prior to this event?
“One oil rig goes down and we’re going to be rolling in dough,” Mr. Tourre wrote in one email. “Suck it, fishies and birdies!”
If Dingy Harry Reid thinks the Republican Party is “making love to Wall Street”, is he pimping his ride by recently taking $5,000 from Goldman Sachs in March?
If a tree falls in the woods and there’s nobody there to hear it, is Chris Matthews still a moron?
President Obama has now taken up the sexual reference of “Teabaggers” in referring to anyone who participates in a Tea Party function. Maybe he and Al Sharpton, Rev. Wright and Jesse Jackson, among others should be referred to as “Supermanners”. I’ll let you look that one up.
If we were warned by the “experts” that the oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico was going to cause the price of gasoline to sky rocket, why is the price of crude dropping and expected to drop 20-30 cents in the next few weeks?
Barry’s Bane:
No I don’t seriously believe in curses or hexes, etc. but one has to wonder. We always hear about the man with a Midas Touch in reference to King Midas who was reveled for his ability to turn everything into gold. I think it is called the Sidam Touch where everything turns out bad.
Just to name a few, BHO went to Copenhagen to plead the case for his home town to host the Summer Olympics. They assumed they were in the running and didn’t make the first cut. BHO goes to New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts to campaign for his fellow democrats. They lose.
He travels to Copenhagen again to save the World Climate Conference. It’s a disaster. He lives in Washington, D.C. and it gets hammered with repeated record snowfalls. His home town of Chicago suffers an earthquake.
It’s all highly coincidental but I think if I were a politician interested in winning my next election, I’d steer clear of that man.
Global Warming Insanity:
Did you know that global warming causes earthquakes and other natural disasters? The latest comes from Eve Ensler and we should not doubt her for one minute. After all, how can you not take seriously a woman speaking on behalf of climate science who became famous for writing about vaginas.
And the Insanity Rages On:
Michelle Obama has launched, “Let’s Move”, a campaign supposedly geared toward slimming down America’s fat kids. Who could argue with that. We need to do a better job at teaching our kids how to eat better. And did I tell you that needs to be done at home?
But that isn’t nearly as effective as telling the world that fat kids are a threat to our national security. That’s what the First Lady said. She also said, “So many parents desperately want to do the right thing, but they feel like the deck is stacked against them. They know their kids’ health is their responsibility but they feel like it’s out of their control. They are bombarded by contradictory information at every turn, and they don’t know who to believe.”
So, close your eyes and follow the Obamas. After all, our national security depends on it.
Tea Parties:
Ignorance prevails when it comes to the democrats and republicans trying to understand what’s behind the Tea Parties. They just don’t get it and what’s scary is that some think they do but they don’t. Some on the republican side of things think they are “in” with the Tea Party simply because they are republicans. On the left, they have yet to figure out what the movement is. Here’s a hint. It’s not about drinking tea.
Iran Sanctions:
This time we’re really going to left them have it!
Auto Recalls:
Is Nissan Motors a big enough auto seller to warrant a government forced recall on something wrong with their cars?
The United States Congress has decided that there is nothing more urgent than to pass a law forcing college football to devise a playoff system [...]
The United States Congress has decided that there is nothing more urgent than to pass a law forcing college football to devise a playoff system and ditch the BCS bowl birth boondoggle that everyone hates this time of year because their team didn’t make it to the championship game. Go Prairie View!!
Can someone please explain to me why this is any of Congress’ biddnih? The same question that totally screwed up Nancy Pelosi’s head could be asked here; “Where specifically in the Constitution does it say that Congress is supposed to decide a national college football champion?” And before you Pelosi supporters ask, yes, I am serious. This is a serious question. (Hint: There is a Constitution)
Maybe I actually have the answer. You see most people think BCS stands for Bowl Championship Series. What it actually stands for is Big(ass) Cash Split. Teams that make the BCS series get to split up all that cash. And you thought this was about football. Too bad those undefeated teams that play in places like Idaho (where is that anyway), have to get any of that pay out money. But they deserve the money. The last time they shared in the prize money it wasn’t enough and so when it came time to put artificial surface on their football field, they bought blue. What? It was on sale!
So, there’s money involved, therefore Congress must be authorized through the U.S. Constitution to decide how best to spend it. I know they know how to spend my tax money. That’s settled. Go Prairie View!!
Who in the dickens is this little butterfly loving freak to your left?
Climategate! Oh, Climategate! Forever will you be overlooked! Oh, sorry. I got carried away for a moment. ‘Tis the season!
You know, I’m not very smart and I’m willing to admit it. I am smart enough to do that. Isn’t it awful when dumb people think they are smart but they are not smart enough to know they are stupid? Or is it worse when people are stupid, they know they are stupid but they think you are stupider and will never admit their own stupidity?
We’ve all heard the expression about a person that doesn’t have a clue. Some of us who have a bit of a clue have heard the same expression taken to it’s superlative of, “he don’t even suspect!”
I laughed this morning when I read a headline, “Climategate Doesn’t Change the Facts of Climate Change”. Curiosity got the better of me even though I knew what was going to be said. The person making the claim that Climategate wasn’t changing the “facts”, supported that claim by citing the facts that are now in question as to being actual fact or fiction from Climategate. Oh, well.
I want everyone to know how much better I slept last night. For weeks now I haven’t slept good at all, laying awake night after night fretting over a proposal for a public option or government run health care plan. When I discovered it had been taken out of the most recent health care bill was I some relieved. There’s something so reassuring when I read that “the public option has been taken out of the health care bill. Instead, it will be replaced with an independent health insurance company that will be run by the government.” Oh, praise Jesus’ name! I don’t even suspect.
I was going to avoid this subject but I can’t help it. Tiger Woods! What a mess! Now rumors are flying around that he is going to give up golf in order to save his marriage. The real reason he’s thinking of giving up golf is because the Swedish golfer Jasper Parnevik introduced Tiger to his wife. Rumors are also flying that Tiger got a phone call from Parnevik saying that now that he’s had a nine iron smashed across his face, does he have any idea what a driver would feel like…………well, let’s not go there.
We really all should find something better to do with our time. You know Tiger made his choices and now it seems he is realizing the consequences all by himself. I don’t think he needs any of us helping him to screw it up worse than it already is. But then again, that wouldn’t be American would it?
‘Tis the season! Fa, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la! And finally my ’tis the season random thoughts will leave you with a YouTube video of some of the most precious Christmas songs of all time…….well, maybe the most precious Christmas songs of this week. Or maybe the songs only slightly resembles Christmas and it’s just plain funny stuff.
