Great post Terri. I’m reading this during the summer months but it sure does take me back to my own grandpa and our family hunts also taking place over the Thanksgiving holiday in Eastern Washington state. My grandpa carried an old octagon barreled 30-30 Savage that is still in the family. When I get to hold it every now and then, I remember those times vividly.

Terri it looks like you cherish the old days. And that means a lot in hunters and outdoor enthusiast of today. I love the site and your blog is powered by WordPress which is so cool. I have sites of my own that are powered by WordPress. I great suggestion though is to upgrade your site to WordPress 3.1.2 it is so great. Keep up the hard work and good luck in the field.
