Last weekend I caught a glimpse of an absolute stud buck. I tried to find him again the next morning with no sighting and then I had to hit the road for Western Kansas. Today CA-Chucky returns with high hopes and an unfilled tag. I’ll be holding out for that stud or one of better quality. We’ll also have another member of our regular elk hunting group down for this weekend, but his standards don’t tend to be that high. Hopefully we’ll have some bucks on the ground by Sunday…
