A big “Thank You” to Bob from RavensBark for sending me some sauces to review. On Sunday night, we had some pulled chicken, adorned with “The Bumble-B” According to RavensBark, “Made with sweet Honey, this BBQ sauce has a zesty finish! It’s perfect for Memphis style barbeque, great on pork & can be used as marinade”.
Now, call it sacrilege, but I threw some big ol chicken breasts in the crockpot that morning, with a healthy dose of the Bumble-B. There are so many great flavors present when you grill something, I just wanted to taste the sauce and the chicken. The Bumble-B was a hit with the whole family!
It is a great-looking sauce; not thick, but not thin either. I would call it a “medium” viscosity. It does have definite sweetness, a hint of smoke and a serious, surprising zing at the end. This is a great sauce, and I would absolutely recommend it. Great flavor!
