As soon as I rolled over in the bed this morning I knew I needed to get up and get busy, but I didn’t want to. I felt muscles that I haven’t felt in months. With all the heat of the past week and lugging the equipment around and up the trees, I guess I have just worn my body down a little more than I thought. I drank plenty of water every day, but I still got muscles spasms while I was in Kentucky because I was sweating so much.
So far today I have: Washed my hunting clothes for the next trip, taken my son and daughter to school, ate breakfast with my Dad, washed dishes for my wife, picked my son up from school, fed my son lunch, hung out 2 loads of clothes, and updated my blog!
The good thing is that I got home a day early from the last trip, The bad thing is that I leave at home at 2:00 a.m. Friday morning for another hunt!
No rest for the weary! I’m going to go for a 3 mile jog to try and loosen up some muscles and then off to pick up the daughter from school and take her to piano lessons.
Boy does my wife like it when I’m in town!
