Hi Greg

What is the best piece of advice you can give to a beginner albeit bow or gun as to where and what to look for in an area to set up your tree stand in an area not really known for alot of deer signs allthough there are deer there.

Hello Mr. Miller,

What is your views on where hunting is going in the future? You have more land being built on so the hunt-able land is getting smaller each year. And what would you do to help get more Women & kids in to hunting.

I have always liked to watch any show you are on, I got so pumped about starting to bow hunt after seeing Prime Time Buck’s 5, when you dropped the buck in his trax. Thanx for being there for hunters everywhere. Happy Hunting.

If I had 1 day to bowhunt during the year it would be during the rut or very near to on the most dreariest, cold, cloudy drizzley, and windy day I could find. I have bowhunted hunted Iowa whitetails for many years and I would like to know what triggers whitetails to go absolutely insane when the weather turns nasty during the rut? You would think during these conditions they would hold up in cover.But 90% of the time the action will be out of this world.Any ideas?

I have read your book about hunting big woods bucks, and learned from it.
Is there any new things you have learned to add to the wealth of advice given on the subject. Also, you mentioned hunting Hoosier National Forest, in my home state, and I was wondering if you have done so.

Hi Greg,
I love the outdoors. I enjoy bowhunting whitetail, spring and fall turkey hunting with my shotgun and I love to fish for Esox, Walleye, Largemouth Bass and panfish. While enjoying these activies I get inspiration for my music! I am also a composer and pianist. Anyways, how can I get more interest in my music for outdoor hunting videos and shows?
Another question that I have..how would YOU get more women involved in the great outdoors? I went to several seminars at various Gander Mountains that my husband Mark conducted, and no women attended. (He has had very few in the past) I asked the men that came how many of their wives or daughters hunted? None of them did! Very dissapointing to say the least.
I try to spread the word to my female piano students who love to get outside. When I perform in concerts I am not afraid to talk about the inspiration behind my songs and express how much I love hunting, fishing and being out in nature.

hay greg,deenis a fellow wisconsin native,love the show u give alote of good info on the show.well here is my question im buying a savage 25-06 for deer and coyotes and have been told that a 80gr is good for yotes and 120gr is good for deer i was wondering if there mit be a mid.ground so i dont have to resight in every time.im some what concerned about the 120gr being to much for yotes and damaging the hide.all the help you can give would be great thanks and good luck this season.

Hey Greg, I am hunting a piece of land and first of all I am a novice at scouting and looking for sign. I have watched alot of shows and picked up an awfull lot but actually putting all the pieces together is tough. I am hunting a piece of land that is between to clubs. Myself and another Bowhunter are the only hunters. I have a couple of two-man latter stands, one lock-on, and a blind. I currently have (oh and I have a climber) a climber on one of the most promising spots which is half way down a short finger and I have a two-man latter stand right off of a sparce clearing facing a creek. Haven’t seen anything on the creek stand and I have only seen does on the finger. I do however have small bucks on camera but nothing of any size. Need some advice on where to set up and what to look for is a good stand site, thanks, Dave Ft Benning GA

Hello Greg,
One of the things I appreciate so much about various fishing programs is when the host takes the time to address the kind and function of the gear and lures he used in the taking of the fish he caught; that is the single most disappointing thing I find in nearly ALL hunting programs…yours included. Some of us would like to know the caliber of rifle you used, and the manufacturer’s name of the accessories that helped to make your hunt a success. I personally would like to know where to find the tripod you used in your KS Whitetail deer hunt. Email me if you have a moment.

i am 51yrs old and have hunted whitetails from age 17 to now.for the past 22yrs i have bow hunted only.i lease land in ill.mid southern part of state.there is a buck on one of the farms that i have seen for the last six and one half yrs and only twice have i had this deer close enough to shoot but both times i could not get a shot i felt good about.mosy people just look at me funny when i tell them he is about 24 to 26 inches wide with 12 points and now this year he has some stickers also his g-2s are about 18 inches and the rest of the points just step down about 2 to 3 inches lots of mass.i belive he will field dress around 300lbs.i now never see him except during the rut. i put out trail cams but have never gotten a picture.i almost belive he is just about unkillable is there such bucks.you guys on tv make it look so easy.i have taken my share of pope & young bucks but haver taken a boon and crockett.i would love to take the buck i am telling you about.i watch my wind wash everthing in no sent soap and bag in no sent bags.i bath in no soap and change in the field.i also spray down everthing before enter woods.i have tried to decoy with buck buck and doe alos with just doe.i spend 2 to 3 weeks hunting during the rut and then go back late season for 3 to 4 days at least 3 times before season closes.a deer of this age and size has realy pushed me to the end of my rope.if you know of anything else i could do to get on this deer i would thank you so much.i respect you very much your show is a class act.i think the best on tv.i said when you left naw tv it wpoul kill there show.hope this dont take up too much of your time but my passion and dream is to take a boon &crockett before i get too old or my health gets too bad that i cant bow hunt.may God bless your life more than ever and always help you shoot straight. thanks e mail everstonecreationsoftn@gmail.com phone 423-773-5389

Hi Greg,
What a show you have,I love it,it’s to bad it wasn’t a 1 hour show.I was just wondering what type or what brand bow sight you use,I am looking for something so I can see a little longer when it starts to get dark,I now use a pendulum sight and most of my stands are 16 to 20 feet high.

I was watching your decoy show and saw the part about trail camera’s.
One picture from the trail camera was a double drop tine buck.
If this picture was taken in Iowa.. I harvested this Deer on nov 8, 2010. I thought you might want to know!
