Not a lot of hog hunting information for today, just thought I’d catch up with my blogosphere friends and neighbors a bit.
Been having a bit of fun with Rex, over at the Deer Camp. His storytelling rates right up there with some of the greats, so I had to throw my two cents in just to stir things up. Sounds like the makings for a barbecue cook-off too…
I was also over poking around at Kristine’s Gunslinger blog. While I was there, I saw a post from a lady hunter, Dana. With a couple of clicks, I discovered a brand new blog to add to my blogroll. How about a hearty, HogBlog welcome to the Wild Woodswoman! I’m real glad to see more women becoming involved in the hunting community.
Speaking of women hunting, here’s a sorry oversight on my part. Marian is a great friend of Rex’s and runs a great blog of her own at Marian’s Hunting Stories, where her tales run the gamut from family and friends to some wonderful hunting. Anyway, this is another one I thought I’d added a long time back… but there ya go. She’s here now, and that’s what counts. Right?
For today, I’ll leave you with some fun from this past weekend. While Rex was munching melon, we were playing with the ponies in the redwoods.

Cool video and song. I’m going to send the link to my father-in-law, who is an avid horseman.
