Phillip,

Adding a "Wild Game Cook-Off" to the OBS could be fun. I'll have to ponder that idea. Or we could do an OBS cookbook. We could sell them and donate the money to worthy organizations.

As to not knowing the exact amounts for your recipe, everyone knows that the best meals are the ones you fix by taste. I'm not a huge chili fan, but that recipe sounds pretty good.

Hey LucaBrasi..

I'm not a huge fan of pozole, but I've got a similar recipe with beans instead of pozole.

Stay tuned...

Sounds good Philip.. Ever tried making Pozole with hog roast? It's a hominy stew, kind of like Menudo but with a pork base, sounds like it would be right down your alley.

Jon, one of these days I'd like to make it to that Terlingua cook-off. I hardly consider myself a chili connoisseur, but I do love good chili. I like it hot, too.

Moose, maybe we just need to get Steve to bring us all together for a wild game Chili cook-off. I haven't been to Maine in ages.

Or it could be part of the Outdoor Bloggers' Summit activities. Hmmm... ideas abound.

Looks pretty good. I can't believe I don't have my chili up on my blog will have to do that for a future post for sure. I forgo the tomatoes, add lots more pepper plus I use black beans. As far as the meat goes it's whatever I got on hand and often a combo of both ground and chucks. I also don't write it down so repeating it is tough.

That would rate about a 2 on the Terlingua Chili Cook Off hotness scale. I bet it was really good!
