Phil, I've been out of touch for awhile. So, I stole some time out and headed to my NYC hotel room and thought I'd try to catch up on what my fellow outdoorsmen are writing about. This article was the first I looked at and I've spent much of my stolen time reading it and then looking at the background (Bryans post and comments). It's been worth every minute of my time. Your post was well written and makes a lot of sense. I agree with what you say, but never could have vocalized it as well as you wrote it.

Bravo Phillip. This is not only one of the best articles I have read on a blog in a long time it’s also one of the most brilliant written guidelines on writing with your own voice and be truthful. If you don’t mind I will go ahead and copy that article in my reference folder of how-to-write tips.

-Othmar Vohringer-

P.S. Do you give writing classes too? You schould!

Awesome, awesome. This is probably the most thorough and well thought out answer to this question yet. Excellent, excellent post.

Very, very well thought out and stated. I made ti halfway through your post and had a long list of questions...only to have them answered in the second half. Well done!

Thanks for posting the link back to my posts.
