Well, you guys are probably getting tired of hunting videos where I don’t kill anything except time… but here’s another one anyway. Sorry, the money shot is coming, but if I killed something every time I went out, I’d start looking like some of those pro hunters on TV and stuff. Next thing you know, I’ll have to start hawking products and wearing logo hats instead of my old Stetson.
Enough foolishness… on with the show!
Nice job, Phillip. I love the video – no need to kill anything on the videos…it’s easy to see the love you have for being out “there” and that’s what is important to convey – in my opinion. I like that it feels like we were right there on the trip with you…and I LOVE the crickets! And I also like Mark Knopfler – so that just topped off the video! 
(at least that sounded like Knopfler’s guitar!)
If simply killin’ sumpthin’ was all it is about, then how boring would hunting become!
Most enjoyable, and as Tom said, love the crickets and scenery.
Any, time spent out on a beautiful spot such as the ranch you visited is quality time and serenity is only a few crisp, deep draughts of fresh air away.

I’ve been getting some excellent video of Hogs in the various South Florida WMA’s. Had the video up on theoutdoorsguy.com but took it down to put up on of Turkeys. I am realling looking forward to next fall’s bow season for hogs here, I finally have the beasties figured out. Not that it takes much but on public land its an adventure.
