Michael, that was definitely a lot of fun… over too soon, I guess, but definitely fun.

I think that full-body mount is gonna be awesome! It’s quite a specimen to work with too.

You and Jeff were great, and while I’m glad we got your deer, I could have stood a few more days of your company. I guess we’ll have to make up for it down at Jolon or Priest Valley.

As far as I know, we’ll be getting at least the same number of tags again next year, and I’d be tickled to have you guys out again. Dave is on the road until next weekend, but if you’re really interested, drop him a line when he gets back.

Phillip, I am still smiling so much that my cheeks are starting to hurt.
That was one of the most exciting and fun filled hunts which I have ever been on and yours and Dave’s hospitality was top notch.

I have contracted West Coast Taxidermy in San Bruno to do a life size, full body mount on that deer (my first Mule Deer) and also first deer hunt in 10 years or more.

I hope that Jeff and myself were not too much trouble for you (sorry for giving you a near heart attack for all those shots fired) and also that we will be invited out next year for another wonderful time at Coon Camp Springs.
