I would soooo like to go Turkey hunting. We don’t have them in the UK….

Can anyone suggest a way to book to go turkey hunting next season…does anyone arrange them for Uk residents at all?

Phillip,
Me and birds have never really gotten along so well.
Remember in the movie Forest Gump where Lawrence Fishburn? Bubba! is naming off all of the ways to fix shrimp: Shrimp gumbo, Fried Shrimp, Boiled Shrimp, etc. etc.

Well. I have had every imaginable concoction of chicken,guinea fowl,crow,quail, dove, etc. etc. Chicken and dumplin’s, guinea and rice, boiled crow and rice, and lets not even go in the direction of fried.

But the absolute best, (besides Hanks,( “hunter angler gardener cook”s” Dove recipe) would be when I deep fried a Wild Turkey with lots of veggies and some fruit pieces placed inside of the bird.

Makes all of those hours upon hours of calling well worth it…… MMM GOOD!

I am so ready for turkey season. I’m hoping, with this being my third year, that I finally bag my first bird.

If not, it will still be some time well spent.
