Phillip, you were not the only one thinking “Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?”

I will try to review this in the next couple days. Having trucked to the Bay Area Monday after a long weekend in South Dakota and a long flight home Monday morning, I’ve been a wreck. And with in-laws coming in tonight, who knows when I’ll be able to sneak in another blog post.

But I can tell you one thing: You will not find one ounce of cinematic sophistication in my review. I will be my usual Holly self.

Arthur, I’m sure this movie won’t be for everybody.

It has a definite “Indie Film” feeling to it, even though it’s not particularly self-conscious or pretentious. I think, if anything, it’s one of those films that is destined for cult status, and I can see where it would be the most fun to view with some friends over a few drinks, rather than sitting around the house alone on a Friday night.

I’m not sure this movie is up my alley at all, Phillip. But after your review I might have to give it a chance. I am curious to see what Holly says about it as well before I run out to pick it up, though.

Thanks for the review. It might we worth the watch just for the “sirens”.
