My dear ol’ Pepa used to tell me: Son, hard work builds character! Unfortunately, I had not a clue as to what that word meant at the age of 8 yrs.

Coffee seems a bit like lifesblood these days, Albert. I suppose I could join a program and get off the beans, but I just don’t see the point.

And Arthur… good luck with that. Let me know how it works out for ya. Trust me, the hiatus wasn’t intentional, and once the “squirrel money” ran out, it got downright scary. I’m fortunate that I’ve had a good career thus far, and was able to take care of some key stuff early on. I don’t know how a lot of unemployed folks out there make it these days!
