I tell you what, I looked everywhere for a good wild boar hood ornament. We couldn't just have any old thing for Petunia, it had to be something that stood out. There were a ton of stylized hog ornaments for harleys but very few looked like wild boar. The one I bought was from a company in England. Here is the web link: http://www.louislejeune.com/index.php

The company has been around for 100 years as of this year and they couldn't have been easier to work with. They have some really nice items in their catalog, including the hunting section. Check them out.

Bryan, I'll have to get Kat to tell us where she got it. All I know is that she ordered it online from some place in Great Britain.

Dave, you know this thing came with two sets of screws... one was standard steel, and the other set was nylon. The instructions "recommended" the nylon, so that the ornament could break away in the event of an impact. What are they, crazy? I used the metal. I need to re-attach it later with a little silicon to keep the nuts from working loose, but it's pretty solid right now. They'll have to snatch it clean through the hood to get it off.

'Mon... I've been meaning to put together some before and after shots at some point, but there should be a "current" look at her in one of my recent videos. If I can get Camo Clad to cut me a promotional deal, I'd like to get her wrapped in some cool camo. That, and a new, rear bumper will pretty much complete the package.

Cool hood ornament!

How about posting Petunia's latest full body shot for those who've not had the chance to see the transformation from its former "sorry" state where its side view mirror was able to fall off.
