And I agree with you about the lead issue. It is definitely NOT just a California issue – it will be affecting all of us at some point along the way, in some form or another.

If anything, lead bans should be an Arizona thing – since Arizona did it right by not banning it, simply recommending the switch, and providing education and non-lead ammo for hunters. OK, I know, wishful thinking.

And can I just add that when I blow through 25 shells of Hevi-Shot at a duck refuge at $2.40 a shell, it’s really hard to complain about spending $2 to shoot one deer or pig, or even the $40 I might shoot staying sharp and sighted in at the rifle range? Even though I’m not rich, I’ve lost that argument bigtime.
