While I’m out, I thought maybe I’d share a couple of my favorite blogs.  I hesitated before I started this, because I was a little concerned that my choice of blogs to spotlight would reflect poorly on those that didn’t get included.  The truth is, though, if a blog is on my list, then I read your site regularly… if I didn’t read it and enjoy it, I’d remove it.  I don’t have time to do a profile on everyone, so folks will just have to follow the links and check them out for yourselves.

Arthur, from Simply Outdoors has been one of the most supportive fellow bloggers I’ve had the privilege of dealing with.  While he’s away in the great, white northern reaches of Michigan, he’s as dedicated an outdoorsman as I could ever hope to meet.  And I do hope to meet him one day.  It’s been ages since I went up to Michigan, but if I ever make it back to that great state, I’ll definitely look him up. 

Arthur’s site has evolved a lot over the last couple of years.  He and his brother, along with some friends, have branched out into some videography work, which really complements Arthur’s writing on a variety of topics.  From turkeys to fishing with the kids, he’s at it all the time, and shares his adventures and his thoughts with us on the blog.
