While I’m out, I thought maybe I’d share a couple of my favorite blogs. I hesitated before I started this, because I was a little concerned that my choice of blogs to spotlight would reflect poorly on those that didn’t get included. The truth is, though, if a blog is on my list, then I read your site regularly… if I didn’t read it and enjoy it, I’d remove it. I don’t have time to do a profile on everyone, so folks will just have to follow the links and check them out for yourselves.
We all need a little diversion from time to time, and while I enjoy reading as much as I can about hunting trips, gear, and tactics, I like to see things that take a little different perspective. Well Jody’s The Hunter’s Wife blog certainly fits that bill!
Jody is easily the funniest writer on my blog roll (well, Pat McManus doesn’t count…he’s a professional). She’s not a hunter, and is something of a delicate fisherwoman, but she’s married to a man who apparently lives to hunt and fish. Jody’s gift is that she captures the life of a “hunting widow” with great style and humor.

This is the last in the highlight series for now. I should be back to live blogging by the end of this week. As I mentioned, the blogs listed on my blog roll are all great reads. Sorry I couldn’t go through the whole list, because many of them are deserving of mention.
