If you’re a regular reader of the blog, then you know that recently a friend of mine and I went to Colorado on a mule deer hunt a couple of weeks back. Many of you might also know that I work for a local television station here in Michigan. Every weekend at my station we run a segment on Sunday evenings called “On The Trail” and the producer of the segment wanted to interview me about my trip to Colorado.

   

 

  Yesterday afternoon they stopped by the house and did the interview with me about the trip. I have provided them with some of the video I shot while I was out there and also some of the photos we took. The segment we shot yesterday should air a week from this Sunday. When it does I will be sure to link it to the blog site here so all of you can see a little bit of what it was like for us out west.      As you can see from the photos here that the guy who interviewed me is Tom Wright from Williams Gun Sight and Outfitters here in the Mid-Michigan area. He too is heading out west in a couple of weeks to do a mule deer hunt. I also just received some photos from Pat Dinan the  regional rep. from Bow-Tech of his nice mule deer he took two weeks ago while out in Colorado also. It is nice to see someone else having some luck. I sure didn’t have any while I was out there. But its about the experience and hunt not what you bring back, but it would be nice to have one of those bucks to hang on the wall.
