Jerry Mullet, Founder and President of Americas Best Bowstrings, along with Marketing and Sales Director, Jay Miller, are pleased to announce their recent move into a new facility located at 3149 State Route 39, Millersburg, Ohio.
Jay Miller stated; “The move to a larger facility was prompted by a more than 40% sales growth in 2009- followed by strong continued sales growth in 2010.” “Our continued growth has come in large part due to our presence throughout the U.S. at various trade shows, A.S.A. and I.B.O shooting events, as well as a growing presence in the European and Canadian events and markets, along with additional new product offerings.”
Another area of growth has come through our addition to catalog and online offerings with Lancaster Archery, Jake’s Archery, and Hunters Friend in the U.S., as well as Australian and European distributors who also carry the Americas Best Bowstrings lines. Of the five Americas Best Bowstrings product lines currently being offered, Premium Strings, Rhino Strings (for the value conscious archer), Premium Crossbow Strings, Flemish Twist Strings, and Custom Peep Kits, four of those have debuted in 2010. Jay Miller stated that “We are a very progressive minded company that is committed to the continual improvement to existing products, as well as constantly bringing new product ideas and innovations to the archery industry.”
Between owner Jerry Mullet, Sales and Marketing Director Jay Miller, and Pro Shop Manager Joey Hershberger, we have over 55 years of combined experience in the sport of Archery and Hunting with Archery Tackle. Joey Hershberger is our Retail/Pro Shop Manager, and under the tutelage of Jerry Mullet, has become an excellent bow technician as well as a fine target archer and valued asset to the company. Though only 18 years old, Joey has an established following at the Pro shop for bow tuning and setups. His retail acumen is well beyond his years and he runs the bow shop by the “Golden Rule”. He truly attempts to treat people the way he would expect to be treated.
The new facility is equipped with a separate research and design room that will serve as a catalyst for Jerry and Merlin (Production Manager) to continue to develop and implement new and better ways to build strings and design new products to bring to the archery industry in the near future and for a long time to come.
