My good friend, and someone who has assisted me almost since the day I began writing about the outdoors and blogging, J.R. Absher, has opened up shop with Outdoor Life. When I first met J.R., known as the News Hound, he was writing for ESPN Outdoors. This past winter he opted not to remain with ESPN Outdoors and signed on with Outdoor Life.
He has his own blog over there and I’m inviting all my readers and friends to stop over and help J.R. get his blog off to a great start. Today, he sent me a link to a cool post he put up and a photo that isn’t staged but is pretty cool of a bald eagle sitting perched in an usual place looking for a handout.
