Seems like the thing to do and there is always something we can do or give up to improve our life.   Here is my list;

1. Lose 75lbs Started this one back over Thanksgiving but it’s my biggest goal at this point.  I’m attempting to walk a mile and half to two miles in the morning and in the evening to help me reach this goal plus changing my eating habits.
2. Kill a big game animal with my bow.  I’ve never done this before and I’ve toyed with bow hunting for a number of years but 06 is when I get serious about doing this.
3. Get my conceal carry permit.
4. Learn to shoot right handed.  I know this one sounds funny but I’m right eye dominant but when I was younger and learned to shoot I didn’t have glasses and saw much better out of my left eye.  I continue to shoot left handed to this day which for the most part is fine except for shot gunning for birds.
5. Fish more I counted up this past year and I only fished 3 times.  I have a lifetime fishing license but I just never go.  I want to fish at least 6 times and catch a cat fish or two.

So anyone else have any resolutions?   Anyone want to help me achieve some of mine?  Happy New Year and I’ll keep you posted on how these goals are going.

On another note I’m really enjoying this new endeavor (blog)  and to give some direction to the blog I’ve decided that every Sunday I’ll try to post about photography.    Then on Wednesdays I’ll be posting about what I’m reading.  This will give you some insight into the books I’m reading ( I’m usually reading 2 or 3 books  at the same time) and maybe help you find a good read.  If you’re an author and want me to read your book contact me, obviously it will have to be a subject matter that I ‘m interested in but if you read this blog you’ll have a good idea of things I like.
