Jim Hardie long time Miami Herald outdoor writer died of apparent natural causes at his Miami home. Jim grew up in Winston Salem NC and worked as a sports writer for the Wilmington Star. Jim was 75 years old and although he was retired he still wrote a fishing report every week here is a link to his last report.
