Sounds like a great place. I've been to Alaska once and I want to return. I have photographed a lot of moose mostly when I lived in Maine. Many of those are packed in boxes somewhere prior to the digital phase. I find moose to be some of the most tolerant big game subject to photography but just don't tick one off. I'm in the process of planning a trip out west this year to Yellowstone and Grand Teton I hope to capture some great wildlife photos including some moose.

That's great, Moose. While typing your account name I thought back to some moose pictures I took back in 1968. I was stationed at Sparrevohn AFS, a remote site on the Distant Early Warning (DEW) Line 160 miles west of Anchorage.
The best ones I got were of a young bull that came sauntering down the trail past our fish camp. I had my Winchester slung over my shoulder for protection, so I grabbed for my cameras. That moose had obviously never seen such a spectacle, and tolerated my shooting shot after shot, before swapping to my Super-8.
I was under fifty yards of him, and it was totally beginner's luck, but I had some beautiful shots. I wish I still had them, they were lost in a move.
