It seems that a Meme is floating around the blogs asking those tagged to share a little bit about themselves outside of their work and has to be more then just your hunting. Rick over at Tails & Trails tagged me so I’ll try to live up to the challenge but one thing that does bug me a bit is that for many of us our blogs are a sideline and not necessarily a reflection of the profession we do day in and day out. (Be interesting to know what people do for a living) Myself I work in the area of Mental Health and my hunting and my blogging is a release for me after a stressful day at the office.

Well let me see I grew up in New England and did not take up hunting until I was an adult. I have successfully been drawn twice and killed both times a moose in the Maine lottery system. Those by far are my most exciting hunts followed closely by killing a black bear at 3 paces on the ground with a muzzleloader.

Next to hunting my next big hobby is photography and mostly wildlife at that. I’m constantly working on improving my techniques to get that perfect shot. I post a daily photo on my other blog Moose’s Wild America.

I’m a die hard hockey fan growing up in Boston during the Bobby Ore era and watching lots of games with my Dad. Moving to the south 13 years ago I knew my hockey fix was going to be hard to get in the middle of NASCAR & College Basketball but three years after I moved here a NHL team came to town. Although I’m still a Bruins Fan I’m also a Canniac (Hurricanes fan) and attend many of the games.

Well that’s a little about me and now I get the chance to pass the challenge on. So my three choices are; The Sled Chix although I’m not much of a sledder I lived for a number of years on the edge of a trail and heard them racing by and I enjoy the snow photos she posts, another great blog comes from North of the Border Muskoka is one that I’ve been reading for a while and Bill does a great job, and finally my good friend and hunting partner Billy writes about waterfowling and dog training on Blind Ambitions.
