wow the I had to find out my self that the man that has the drive to do anything and over come anything had this spinal stroke. Tred, just watched your shows, Black Bear (BC), Coyote, Goose, & Pheasant Hunting with the Long Bow!! My son, Luke, 15yrs. old is actively taken up Long Bow hunting in the Pocono Mountains, PA. Didn’t realize you had become sick, your inspiring a hole new group of outdoors men, the physically challenged. Keep up the good work & you”ll be surprised with the returns. Tred, just watched the show with Where Dan took your freind the ” French Chef” into the mountains of Colorado for an Elk hunt, my homestate. Awesome, you are an inspiration, always liked your show. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, ask of him, he shall answer your prayers!!!!! My prayers and thoughts are with you, keep fighting, and continue to do what you do!!!!!!!!

Mr Barta, You’re a good man. Continue to show us how to get the job done. I watched you hunt turkeys with a good friend yesterday morning. Then last evening I watched your deer hunt after your illness. The lesson that glowed brightest in those two shows was the frienship you guys share. God Bless you, your wife and your friend.

We always watched your show and enjoyed all your comments and great
skills,wondered why we had not seen shows lately, both of us went to work at Cabelas, in Grand Junction, Co so thought we were just missing the shows,
saw you on a fishing show and realized you were in a wheel chair,checked your web site to see what happened. We do pray that all is well, with God’s
hand may you beat this illness. When you are back in Colorado to see your guide friend do stop at Cabela’s we would love to see you.

I just learned of your spinal stroke and paralysis. I am glad to see that you haven’t given up and still hunt. I have been a paraplegic for the past 32 years. I have only missed one hunting season in all those years. I gave up archery until it became legal here in PA to use a crossbow. Now that I have seen you use a long bow, I may seriously try my recurve again. Check out the Extreme 4×4 wheelchair on the internet. It is not a chair for in the house. I use one and it gives me mobility and independence in the woods. I hunt and trap for coon, fox and have a great time. Keep going.
