I am a west coast liberal hunter/fisherman yet can appreciate the sentiment of a higher being. You honesty were a great persona during a troublesome time in my life. I went to Texas to kill a hog after seeing one of your episodes, emulating you. I do things the hard way, and I think "our" way. I try to educate people to the greatness of the outdoors in a high tech society. Showing children and women without "cheesmo" the wonderful honesty of nature and sportsmanship. You have taught me through your television episodes what I have always felt but couldn't say. Your pholosophy and courage is my moral compass. I repeat, moral compass.
