Tammy Duke was killed in a hit & run boating accident Sunday Evening on Mayo Lake when the boat she was on was struck by another. Homeowners on the lake came to the aid after hearing the accident and cries for help. A person in a boat without any lights was observed fleeing the scene of the deadly accident. The NCWRC is the lead agency in investigating this accident.
