Bruins All Stars Chara & Thomas share a moment on ice despite being on opposing All Star teams
Hockey is another passion of mine that is almost an equal for my love of the outdoors. This past weekend Raleigh was the center of the hockey world with the NHL descending on the area for All Star weekend. From all reports the area did a spectacular job on hosting this event and I would concur. I attended the Skills Competition, Fan Fare and of course the All Star Game and loved it all. In an area where College Basketball and NASCAR have ruled the roost for a while it’s great to see NHL finding a spot in the south especially with me living here. Hockey Rules!
Canes Rookie Skinner enjoyed rock star status all weekend long.
