Crowd was big on Saturday morning
The Dixie Deer Classic weekend has sadly come to an end but what a fun weekend it was. It was great to see some old friends meet some new ones and to see some great deer taken by hunters across the state. I’m going to break the week down into a number of posts over the next few days because there is just too much to cover.
My overall view is that the Wake County Wildlife Club put on a fantastic show they brought back Lee & Tiffany and Michael Waddell for a second year in a row. They had some great activities for the young folks including a scavenger hunt to learn more about nature and wildlife.
It will be interesting to see what the final attendance for the show was, Saturday morning I’d of guessed it was going to be record breaking however by lunch time the crowds eased up. While it was a pretty well attended show I don’t think it was record breaking it will be interesting to hear the numbers.
Over the next few days look for stories about people and businesses I interacted with, organizations that were there that impressed me, and who knows what else. I was there for all three days so you know there are some stories to tell. So hang on and I’ll get to them.
