By Jerry Long, January 17, 2011

I met a lot of great people at ATA.  The following pictures are probably not the normal line up of personalities people might think of.

Cori Upper, son of Strother Archery co-owner Vance Upper, my friend Gary Martin, and Cori’s friend Bob Mills, outside the show doors.

Gary Martin and Vance Upper, co-owner of Strother Archery.

Gary Martin and Brian Parks, Strother Archery co-owner.

My “blog father” and Up North Journal head man, Mike Adams, with me.

Up North Journal team members Dave Boggs, Mike Adams, Chico Lopez and Kevin Hutchings.

Jill Haliburton of Duravanes with the new Zeon Fusion vanes.

Gary Cooper, owner/inventor of Slick Trick broadheads reluctantly submitted to a picture.

David White, owner of Hot Shot Manufacturing, displays his Infinity release.

Robin Parks, Hot Shot Manufacturing Pro Staff coordinator and co-owner of Aim’n Low TV.

Stan Mercer, co-owner of Red Feather Archery shows off his Phoenix broadheads.  Stan is one of the nicest people I met at ATA.  He sure puts the smack down on some small game with a bow.

Jerry and Lindsay Eulitt of Ike’s Outdoors and Jake Feather Productions.  Some more extremely nice people.

Dennis Hartsell shows off a Cranford rope-on tree step.  I’ve used them for years.

A prized picture of me with Larry D. Jones, author, videographer, call innovator, Bowhunters’ Hall Of Fame Inductee and more.   Larry was nice enough to give me his autograph.

Lonnie Collins, author of Aim Small, Miss Small, Robert DeRosier, Director of Publisher Content for Outside Hub Media, and myself.

Keith Beam, co-inventor of Double Bull blinds gives me a couple of seconds.

Another prized picture of me with archery engineering legend and Archery Hall Of Fame Inductee, Norb Mullaney, who hails from the Milwaukee, WI area.

Well, that’s it for pictures from ATA.  Tune in next week when I start to go over my favorite products from the show.

happy hunting, dv
