Day 2 basically was a repeat of Day 1. Early trip to the pier in the morning and the evening…a few blues in the morning and some Spanish in the afternoon.
The afternoon pier catch plus Kara’s blue from the surf
I did tie on a Fireball rig in the surf during the afternoon and Kara caught a blue and I managed to snag another on a Gotcha. Water wasn’t quite as clear today which was unfortunate because I had caught 2 dozen sand fleas to catch some triggerfish and spadefish on the pier, but they weren’t to be seen.
Another Gotcha plug thrower reeled in this wild catch…measured close to 30 inches and put up quite the struggle
Last but not least, well yea…maybe the least…my smallest catch ever. Managed to reel in this ‘hawg’ with the Gotcha, I’m suprised my line held!
