Sorry the blog has been a little inactive lately, but my wife and I have been busy as all get out.  And it’s not slowing down…beach trip next week, wedding the next weekend, July 4th, camping trip, and the list goes on.

That being said, I’ve been working hard (although success has been tough to come by with the heat, rainy weather, and uncooperative deer) lately on the property…fetal sex ratios, a little shed antler research project.

Not to mention I’m taking a summer statistics class at the university.

I vow to bring you the very best of my summer adventures here on the blog though.  Next week, the blog will be pretty slow, but look forward to a full fishing report on our return.  We’ll be spending half a week at the Outer Banks of North Carolina and then heading 2 hours south to Emerald Isle for the second half of the week.  Last year’s beach trip produced some great action, photos, and blog posts so I’m hoping this year’s does the same.

On a sidenote, GreenThumb, let me know yesterday that I was quoted on some of my Chesapeake Farms deer research in a August 2009 article  in Petersen’s Bowhunting.  Article was called “Pseudo-Refuges Attract and Hold Deer” by Bob Humphrey.  I haven’t seen it yet, but check it out if you get the chance.

Well, sorry for the rambling post, but I thought a little updater should cover most of the bases from the previous several days.
