Well, this is the 500th post ever on The Outdoor Smorgasbord. That’s a lot of writing no matter how you cut it.
I’ll use it to remind all wishful Western big game hunters who happen to live on this side of the Mississippi River that your best chance at hunting elk on this side of the big river is in Kentucky and you have exactly 14 days left to secure your lottery permit.
I think that might have been a run-on sentence…oh well.
