…through the summer.

Been getting plenty of office work done between the end of the spring semester and the start of the second summer mini-semester when I’ll be taking a class on Habitat Occupancy and Modeling.

I did make it up to Alexander City, AL, last week with a buddy to shoot some bows.  I shot around 10 different models and I’ll give a brief run-down very soon and about what I thought about the bows.

Also, the neighbor and I have a little hog hunt planned for Monday down in a south Alabama swamp.  Both our freezers ran out of pork and the smoker is begging for another couple of wild swine shoulders.  We’ll see what we can do about that and you can be sure I’ll post about that hunt.

Other than that, I have a home DIY project going right now with a 10×14 storage building going up in the backyard.  I laid the concrete corners and supports, framed out the floor, and screwed down 3/4″ flooring panels.  I’ll break out the miter saw this weekend and begin assembling the walls.  I’ll try to post some pictures of that project in the near future as well.

Sorry the blog has been slow lately, but it is tough to get out and do anything worth posting about when it is in the mid-upper 90s every day.  That being said, I’ll try to check in at least weekly for the next couple months.  Ah, but the fall cometh and with it comes hunting seasons of all types.

2010 is shaping up to be another memorable year so be patient – the best is yet to come!
