in 2001 i was hunting out of war creek campground outside of twisp and ran into the same wolf that hung around the camp ground two years in a row. i was questioned about my knowledge of what i saw and now it's becoming common knowledge. i guess i knew what the heck i was taking about.

Those wolves near Joseph in Oregon are almighty close to my elk hunting grounds - in fact, in 2004, I was hunting elk up in Hell's Canyon and my dad and I ran across a set of wolf tracks. That's been four years ago, now - and I'm sure they're in there for good, now. Too bad. Oregon and Washington will both have serious problems in handling these huge predators - bulk of the populations live in the west part of the state and is very liberal leaning. and, take a look at what Oregon did with cougars - and if we think cougars are a problem, just let the wolves have free reign for a few years. Yikes.
