I'm not a hunter myself, but grew up in eastern Montana, where my dad, brother and later my husband did a lot of deer and antelope hunting. I've been concentrating on the old-time cowgirl aspect of life the last few years and just had my first novel published, Cowgirl Dreams, based on my grandmother who rode in MT rodeos in the 1920s.
