Nice blog on Cowgirl Jules. I'm not a hunter myself, but grew up in eastern Montana, where my dad, brother and later my husband did a lot of deer and antelope hunting. I've been concentrating on the old-time cowgirl aspect of life the last few years and just had my first novel published, Cowgirl Dreams, based on my grandmother who rode in MT rodeos in the 1920s. Pretty fascinating era!

Hey, thanks for the nod! That there's the biggest buck I've ever taken, from 2007. The challenge was mostly getting it into the truck myself, but with some rope, the truck itself, and a nearby road cut, I did it.
