I had been trying to keep up a regime of running during the hunting season after the Salt Point 25k trail run. I was sporadic in doing that throughout August, September, October and November.
When the first organized group training run kicked off on November 22nd, the five mile hilly run certainly shocked my system. Perhaps it was the electric atmosphere of a large group, maybe it was the cold drizzle and fog. Anyway, I was out on the trail again in Annadel State Park , over hill and over dale…

All in all, I ran around 11 miles this week with a road run earlier in the week. Once I get my frequency back up to 4x per week, I should start racking up the miles.
