Cindy Krug sent me a picture of her latest bow kill, a tasty southern California sow. Cindy noted that this is her 32nd wild pig with a bow. If you want to see Cindy with one of her trophy boars, check out this quarter’s Relentless 365 magazine.
Here’s a nice sow I shot yesterday morning. We were out quail hunting, but luckily I had brought my bow along because it was the last day of deer season and the first weekend of bobcat season. As we were driving we spotted a few pigs out feeding, so I quickly swapped out my hunting vest and shotgun for my bow, release and rangefinder. I stalked in to within 20 yards of this pig and made a perfect shot. In less than a minute she was down. I love it when a plan comes together!
