Shotgun Life Publisher, Irwin Greenstein and friend Rick Cundiff head out to the Cordoba region of Argentina for high-volume dove hunting. In Part I of the series “Dove Hunting in Argentina Beretta Style,” they embark for two destinations that are affiliates of the Beretta Trident Program: the Sierra Brava Lodge followed by a hunt at Estancia Los Chañares. Irwin tries to buck conventional wisdom about using a sub-gauge in Argentina to reduce recoil fatigue. Instead, he packs two Beretta 12 gauges equipped with the company’s Kick-Off recoil-reduction system to see if they really work on extreme bird shooting.
